Add free text field in the user record
Multiple projects/departments are using cardboard it and we'd like to charge the cardboard license appropriately with a free text field filled in when adding the user. (Would also have to be editable.)

Adding community members
One of the individuals I wanted to add to my community has signed in, but my board is not displayed. What's the problem? Others who have been invited are able to see my board.
1 voteHi,
Please note that you must add collaborators both to your community and also to the specific boards you’d like them to collaborate on. Collaborators in your community only see boards that they’ve been invited to. They don’t see every board in the community.
Does this clear things up?

Hi
Thanks for the idea. We’ll take a look at Scrumdo and see if it’s a good fit for an integration.

Would be great if can be integrated with Microsoft Team Service Stack
Card like feature, user story and velocity points can automatically be converted to a TFS work item accordingly.
1 voteHi
Thanks for the idea. We’ve discussed integrating with TFS before and have it on our long-term backlog of something we want to do, but is still months away.

Syncing with Jira Not Working
I obtained a free trial and was able to successfully connect to my Jira instance and select a project to be used for syncing.
Unfortunately, I cannot sync with the project because Carboardit returns the following error:
key not found: ""
Can you please assist me with this as I am unable to use the one component that would make Cardboardit beneficial in my current workflow.
Thank you.
1 voteHi,
That error is caused b/c story points in your JIRA project are not configured correctly. Check out the video here on the right to see how this can be done – cardboardit.com/#jira
Please let me know if you still have trouble syncing.

Card backside is opened again no matter where I click
Sometimes when a card I have "opened" it's backside cannot be closed/is opened again automatically if I click on empty space or opening another card.

Thanks for bringing this bug to our attention. We’re able to replicate it and will queue it to be fixed.
Generally something like this starts happening it’s best to refresh the page and everything will go back to normal, but it shouldn’t be a problem in the first place either.

Ctrl + arrow should add a blank card with same color
It's very rare that I need to duplicate the text of a card. But when I'm in a flow of creating cards I need to create the next card quickly.
It would be great if we can use the Ctrl + arrow to create a blank card with the same color. Maybe Ctrl + shift + arrow can be used for copying the card and content.1 voteHi Ashia,
Thanks for the idea. I like it. I’ll share it with the team and get their thoughts.

SHIFT left/right to change card colour is buggy
My cards go haywire and continue to change colour every few seconds afterwards ... I have to reload the page and sometimes manually reset and override the colour attribute by right clicking and selecting the specific colour.
1 voteHi Nathanael,
Could you provide a little more detail about how you this happens. I haven’t been able to recreate it.
Thank you,

We agree with you that the gradients could use improvement. We would like to hear your input into how we could re-design them.
Our intention with the gradient was the ability to get a big-picture view of how close something is to complete in a simple glance, that is intuitive information about progress, so we’d like to keep something in that same vein.

Will output the dividers when printing/exporting as PDF
When printing, the pdf created does not output the dividers. This made my particular output useless, as I wanted to use the print out (or even better, the resulting pdf) to see my slices.
1 voteHi Kevin,
We feel your pain with the print feature. We’re in discussion on how we can make it better, and including dividers in the printout is one of the ways. We’re also thinking about printing the back of cards, too, and completely re-working the process of exporting the pdf. If you have other ideas of how we could improve it, I’d love to hear.
Thanks,
Austin

Cardboard had more colours and highlighting for cards
Had more colours or at least light versions of the colours currently offered. I also would love to be able to highlight a card. I envision this as a bright yellow border around a highlighted card but any method that could call attention to one card out of many would be awesome.
5 votesAre you having a particular problem with the current colors? Are they tough to see, or do you just want more options for dropping differently colored cards?

Please add support for cloning cards
Please add support for cloning cards by pressing alt+draggin with mouse.
1 voteYou can clone via a keyboard command with Control + Arrow keys, is that enough? Or is the mouse based part the most important thing?

Let me create a slice with JUST ONE card
Let me create a slice with JUST ONE card
4 votesHi Marc,
I’m following up on a request that was first submitted to cardboardit.com in 2013 (better late than never!) – create a slice with just one card. This should be doable, but I not entirely sure what you mean.
Since this has been so long in the coming, please reach out to me if I can assist in signing up for another trial. We’d love to have you back. I think you’ll find CardBoard’s been much improved.

had more printing options
I would love it if Card Board would allow me to specify the card size when printing a card map. I want to use mini post it notes, not 3x3 ones
5 votesHi,
I’m following up on a request that was first submitted to cardboardit.com in 2013 (better late than never!) – improving printing options. You’re receiving this message because you up-voted or created it. It’s not in the app yet but it’s something we’re discussing that badly needs improving. I know it’s probably been awhile since you were last in the app, but if you have more ideas of how we can improve the experience please let me know!

How do I tell if cards are stacked on top of each other?
there seems to be no indicator.
10 votesHi all,
A slight shadow will be created when cards are stacked on top of one another. It does take a quite a few cards before the shadow to become obvious so there opportunity for revision. Another idea we’ve had has been to not let cards stack at all.
Since this request was submitted in 2013, please let me know if I can assist you in setting up a new trial of cardboardit.com. A lot has changed in the past three years, and I’d like your input in the cards stacking and overall new feel.

Create tools to aid the story mapping process
Right now Cardboardit only lets you record a finished story map. I'd like something for a group to write cards, sort them into groups, remove duplicates etc.
21 votesHi all,
I’m curious about this idea. To David’s point we have completed a search feature, but I don’t think that completely addresses what you’re asking for here. Maybe it’s in the time that’s past since 2012. If you’d like, we love to have you back for another trial and let us know what your expectations are now in relation to the multitude of improvements we’ve made over the last four years. If I can assist you in creating a new trial, please let me know.
