Ability to Freeze the Screen for Scrolling
I'd like to be able to freeze the top part of my map (Activity & Task Rows) and be able to scroll down through the stories while that top part stays fixed. (Like Freeze Pane in Excel).

Create tools to aid the story mapping process
Right now Cardboardit only lets you record a finished story map. I'd like something for a group to write cards, sort them into groups, remove duplicates etc.
21 votesHi all,
I’m curious about this idea. To David’s point we have completed a search feature, but I don’t think that completely addresses what you’re asking for here. Maybe it’s in the time that’s past since 2012. If you’d like, we love to have you back for another trial and let us know what your expectations are now in relation to the multitude of improvements we’ve made over the last four years. If I can assist you in creating a new trial, please let me know.

Collapse Cards
Would be nice to be able to collapse cards (at minimum) by the top level "Goal" That way you can focus on just specific sections of the story map (Great when presenting to large groups and keeping focus)1

Ability to "map" Card Board cards to Jira ticket types
-for Jira integration, it would be great if it were possible to keep the mapping order of the cards when importing into Jira. Or to be able to "map" cardboard cards to types of tickets (epics, stories, tasks, bugs, etc.) in Jira.

How do I tell if cards are stacked on top of each other?
there seems to be no indicator.
10 votesHi all,
A slight shadow will be created when cards are stacked on top of one another. It does take a quite a few cards before the shadow to become obvious so there opportunity for revision. Another idea we’ve had has been to not let cards stack at all.
Since this request was submitted in 2013, please let me know if I can assist you in setting up a new trial of cardboardit.com. A lot has changed in the past three years, and I’d like your input in the cards stacking and overall new feel.

Add annotations/free text labels
Sometimes is quite useful to have the possibility of classifying with a free text label each of the sections created by a divider.
7 votesHi,
We’re working on adding the ability to add text to dividers now! Since this request was made two years ago, please let me know if I can assist you in re-starting a trial. We’ve made a lot of changes lately and would love it if you were to give us another look.

Support Trello Integration
It would be great if there was an easy way to turn a Card Board card into a Trello card with the details on the back of the Card Board card becoming the Trello Card Description.

Let you label card colours as a legend
Even if it was pretty low-key like on hover balloons, just a way of communicating to collaborators "Blue means this, green means this".

Search works once, but not thereafter
This appears to be a defect. My first search works fine. But all later searches remember the previous search selections. For example, if the 1st search has 3 hits, and the 2nd search has 1 hit - the 2nd search reports "4 hits". 4 cards are selected, but only one is a true hit.
6 votesHi Brian,
We are aware of the dismal state our search in the application and are currently working on improving it. We’re planning for the improvement to be in the app early next week.

Copy a card from a board and paste it to different board
I'd like to be able to copy a card or a set of cards in a board and past it or them to a different board so that I can easily maintain multiple boards without manually copying and pasting each single card content.

Embedding url would be awesome
It just dumps it as plain text right now.

Have different design themes
I'd like to show this to different customers, who have different preferences - some want austere, others colorful

Would make the card large enough to read when hovering
When I zoom out to see the whole board, I want to cruise around the board hovering over cards. When I do hover over a card, I would like it to quickly show a pop out of the card contents so that I can read the contents without zooming the whole board in

Cardboard had more colours and highlighting for cards
Had more colours or at least light versions of the colours currently offered. I also would love to be able to highlight a card. I envision this as a bright yellow border around a highlighted card but any method that could call attention to one card out of many would be awesome.
5 votesAre you having a particular problem with the current colors? Are they tough to see, or do you just want more options for dropping differently colored cards?

had more printing options
I would love it if Card Board would allow me to specify the card size when printing a card map. I want to use mini post it notes, not 3x3 ones
5 votesHi,
I’m following up on a request that was first submitted to cardboardit.com in 2013 (better late than never!) – improving printing options. You’re receiving this message because you up-voted or created it. It’s not in the app yet but it’s something we’re discussing that badly needs improving. I know it’s probably been awhile since you were last in the app, but if you have more ideas of how we can improve the experience please let me know!
