Board filters or variant views?
I'm not sure how relevant this is but thought I'd share my problem. Story mapping (and Cardboard) is new to me. I've started a new job at a company that is also unfamiliar with mapping, yay! I've built my first story map here and as I review with stakeholders I'm having a bit of a challenge with one thing. I understand mapping is a collaborative process, but in my case I'm doing a significant part of the mapping myself, and then reviewing with the dev team.
Here's my challenge. I have pretty detailed map that I've already begun slicing with a smaller team to see what our MVP might look like - great. However for the larger team and other business stakeholders, I want to review the same story map with them without the slices so they get the full breadth of the story without the context of scope. To do this I'm duplicating my sliced board, removing the slices, and stacking the cards into one large story. I find this makes it easier to have a conversation about the bigger vision. The problem is in keeping the two boards in sync. So far this is the best way I've found to manage. Would love any suggestions you may have. One thought I had was to have a way to create filtered "views" or variants of a board such that I can select the "sliced" view when having scope conversations and the "big picture" view when talking about the overall vision.
