Had an explicit "save" function -- just had a big data loss when I accidentally swiped my smart mouse and sent my browser "back".

    Could you tell me a bit more about what you did?

    We should be saving after every action that you take, so hitting back should only lose the last action if it hasn't gotten to the server yet.
