How can we make CardBoard better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.

  1. I think it would be great if we could bold font or change font style.

    When creating persona we would like to bold the name of the persona.

  3. If all content was auto-saved

    it's intuitive for me to his escape to close a card, but when I do that I lose what I've captured.

    At least prompt me to save if new content since last opened.

  4. Card color change

    I told David that I wished I could change the color of the cards and he showed me how. I wouldn't have discovered it if no shown.

  5. Printing: Only print selected area or a specific journey

    Sometimes I only want to print out a certain part of my map (e.g. a Journey). The only work around is to select only the relevant pages from the PDF created, but especially for Card Maps this doesn't really work, because I usually end up having some other parts of the map on the same pages

  7. Some improvement ideas

    Hi

    When you zoom in / out, the board often zooms in / out to white space and you can get lost. A Home button to reset you to the top left would help.

    Being able to drag the underlying page by holding (e.g.) RHS mouse button to move around would be useful.

    Labelled vertical and horizontal dividers would be useful to help separate releases and functional areas.

    A title and detailed description on the cards would be useful.

    Long term, some form of integration with products like Scrumwise for turning the user story map into a backlog. Unless of…

  9. you could grey out cards

    Sometimes I have cards that aren't being used yet, I'd like to be able to keep them grey, turn the colour on/off, set them to active/deactive...whatever wording makes the most sense for Cardboard. It would be really helpful on larger maps because I could keep the not-yet-used cards in the area I am currently working. This would mean both not getting confused by which are in use and which cards are not in use but also would prevent a ton of scrolling. It's mostly just a convenience request :)

  10. there was a legend

    A map I'm using right now is very large and I was forgetting what each column was so I put post it notes on my computer monitor to keep track of it. It would be super helpful if some of that grey bar along the top of the screen could be commandeered and used as a legend.

  12. Add instructions for creating a Journey

    "Shift select a series of cards and click Create"
    It took me a few experiments to discover this functionality. Might help to provide some clues...

  13. It would be great if you could add cards to slices

    If you could add cards to an existing slice would be great. As the story map takes on different levels of prioritization, adding cards to an existing slice would be very helpful.

  14. Change the order of Journeys

    I would expect to drag Journes up and down, to change their order, but it doesn't work (Chrome 31.0.1650.63). So I have to basically recreate the whole list of journeys manually, if I want to change the order

  18. Easy way to identify cards with comments in the back

    If the cards had a visible icon/indicator to let user know that what cards have comments in the back, and which one don't, that would be useful.
