I'd love to have various icons to uniquely label cards.
I'd like to identify which slices apply to certain users, the status of cards (Done, In Progress, etc.), or be able to creatively select cool ways of visually displaying what matters to my team.
Hi,
I’m following up on a request that was first submitted to cardboardit.com in 2012 (better late than never!) – the ability to add various icons to uniquely label cards. Well it’s in the app now! You can add annotations to cards with a right click. We made them large and in the way because we don’t want them to be over looked or ran away from. It’s also a nice way to mark a card and then quickly find in the mini-map.
Part of the original request was also to set the status of cards – that’s in, too! With a right click you can mark a card as not started, in progress, and done.
We’ve made a lot of changes to CardBoard, and would love if you came back and gave us another look. Please reach out to me if I can assist you in signing up for another trial.

I fall into the same thing, how can others see what I am pointing to, and where is my focus while I am telling the story?
So I did a session with a screen sharing tool, beeing the board-leader, i just shared my screen.
Participants who are able to edit, did it just in an separate browser window ...
So, in other words, the board leader telling the story, we can just share the screen. Did work really well so far ... not sure if it is really needed to make the tool more complex ... -

We also love this idea and it is on our release road map for the next few months. Please watch for announcement emails over the coming months.

The ability to see how much of the product is being done could be very useful for refinement workshops.

Something as simple as colored dots or some such would be a great way to allow tagging/marking of cards and still maintain the simple flexibility of the app.

To me, the elegance of the story map is in its simplicity. However, I do need to know more details about cards sometimes. I would suggest integrating Cardboardit with different existing tools for issue and bug tracking instead.
