How can we make CardBoard better?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. PDF not reflecting correct margins.

    I tried to manually set the margins for printing individual cards to match Avery 5388 Perforated 3x5" cards.

    No matter what I enter, CardBoard outputs .5" top and .5 left margins to PDF.

  2. More collaborators on a board

    I would like to have collaborators on a board. I have 12 people on my team now and it will double over the next few months. I would like my teammates to use Cardboard to review acceptance criteria instead of using JIRA.

    With my current license I have the ability to create 50 boards but only have 9 collaborators per board, I would rather have more collaborators and less boards

  3. Organize story maps in the my/maps page under various categories

    Under the my/maps page -->
    1.Have the option of displaying story maps as a list
    2.Allow us to organize story maps under various custom categories

  4. auto numbered

    Each card could be numbered. Ideally be able to turn this on or off. so level 1 cards. 1,2,3,
    Level 2 1.1,1.2,2.1
    level 3 1.1.1 etc
    This would help to transpose from digital back to a physical wall chart.

  6. Change card font-sizes

    For cards that are used like headers it would be nice to be able to make the font larger so that the card is easier to read.

  7. CSV Export Faulty

    Tried importing a test map into two other programs that accept CSVs as imports, and both failed. For example, in PivotalTracker, received the following error:

  8. Let you label card colours as a legend

    Even if it was pretty low-key like on hover balloons, just a way of communicating to collaborators "Blue means this, green means this".

  9. Automatically closed gaps in board when I move cards out of a column

    When I move a column of cards from one spot to another it leaves a blank column space. To fill it I must select all subsequent cards and move to fill in the space. Can't this be made to happen automatically?

  12. it's very important to have viewers to view my maps

    For development projects it's very usual to have non developers to be able to view user story maps. Example of non developers are marketing and customer care people. These viewers only need to see what's been described in the user stories and the flow of the map to be prepared for the agile review meetings

    The ID is meaningless to me; would be nice if it included the name of my map and the date or date and time it was exported.

    Doesn't let me paste anything into the field in Google Chrome 40 on Windows 7, have to type email addresses in.

  16. Let me see a list of other users that are currently viewing the board

    I'd like to see a list of other users who are currently viewing the board, the same as Google Docs and Etherpad do. I rely on this feature for collaboration with distributed teams, so that I know who has successfully opened the tool and can see the same thing I see.

  17. Let me return to the tutorial video on the homepage after I've logged in

    I'd like to view the homepage tutorial video while still logged in. If I'm logged in, visiting http://www.cardboardit.com takes me straight to my dashboard. I signed up and started playing around with my board, but I can't return to the tutorial video on the homepage without logging out or opening a private browsing window.

  19. Deleting cards on the board shouldn't delete them from issue tracker.

    Love being able to create tickets in the map that sync with Jira, but I'd like to delete completed tickets from the story map to 'clean it up' without obliterating them in Jira. Maybe provide a setting so users can choose.
